One thing is for certain: Kona residents and visitors alike love to be entertained. The Best of Kona Festival is brimming with dance, music, and aloha for everyone. Plus, if you’re over 21, you can grab a beer from Kona Brewing Company and lounge in the Beer Garden while you take in the entertainment.

If movement is your passion, the festival has you covered with Hula by Miss Kona Coffee Pageant winners, original dance numbers by our own Kona Dance and Performing Arts company dancers and students and circus performances and lessons by Cirque Hale.

Consider yourself a fashionista? Watch a fashion show, featuring local designers KK Art Clothing, Gypsy Caravan Hawaii, and Alohiwai, displaying their togs talent; there are giveaways, too, and you might win!

Kona is always bursting with song, whether it’s more traditional or contemporary Island style music. At the festival, you can kick back (or dance up a storm) to performances from bands Blue Jade featuring Ann Hoku Lyn, Ms Demeanor & the Felons, Pacific Roots, Shina Romero and Big Island Music Academy.

The entertainment starts at noon and runs all day. Check out our Entertainment Page for full details about all the performers and bands. See the schedule below.
